One
Nation, Indivisible $795 - sold Height - 21", Width - 8", Depth - 6". One-of-a-kind figure whose head and limbs are sculpted from polymer clay, with a cloth body over a wire armature, and painted eyes. He wears clothing and work boots made from original patterns. Many young men
from the Mohawk and Iroquois tribes work on the "high steel", building New
York's sky scrapers. After 9/11, they were among the first on the
scene to help with the recovery, and American Indian tribes contributed $1
for each registered tribal member toward the clean-up. |
